Title: Code base cryptology at the TU/e

Abstract:
The cluster of Discrete Mathematics and Computer Science of the Technical University of Eindhoven will be presented, in particular the research on Coding, Crypto and Security. Then Public-Key Cryptosystems (PKC) and Code based Cryptology will be presented. The notion of an Error-Correcting Pair (ECP) will be explained. Proving/disproving that the ECP map is a one-way function is fundamental in showing that McEliece PKC is valid or can be broken.

This seminar was organized by Algebra Research Group and Combinatorial Mathematics Research Group ITB
