ICOFM 2023 Grant Opportunities
The European Mathematical Society through the Emerging Regional Center of Excellence (EMS-ERCE) programme is pleased to offer the following grant opportunities to students and early career scholars from ASEAN countries (except Indonesia) in conjunction with the International Conference on Optimization and Financial Mathematics (ICOFM) 2023 taking place on 16-17 September 2023 in Bandung, Indonesia.
Conference Travel Grants
EMS-ERCE is offering travel grants of up to USD 300 to four qualified students and early career scholars to present their research at the ICOFM 2023.
Online Presentation Fee Waiver
EMS-ERCE is offering a fee waiver to five qualified students and early career scholars to present their research online at the ICOFM 2023.
Guidelines
- Applicants must be current active students or early career scholars at the university in ASEAN countries (except Indonesia).
- Applications must be accompanied by a full paper representing new and unpublished research with the topic related to optimization, financial mathematics, and actuarial science. Please follow the template of the Journal of the Indonesian Mathematical Society (JIMS) to prepare the article. The template can be downloaded from the JIMS website: https://jims-a.org/index.php/jimsa/about/submissions.
- The recipients of the grant are considered to publish their research papers at the ICOFM 2023 proceedings or JIMS.
- Successful applicants will be required to present their research at the ICOFM 2023.
- Applicants are welcome to apply for both grants but will only be awarded one.
- Applicants send their Curriculum Vitae, Full Paper, and an Application Letter, describing their self and motivation, to email icofm2023@itb.ac.id
