MYSAGA 2020

The Mid Year School on Analysis, Geometry, and Applications, abbreviated MYSAGA, is a recent initiative from Analysis and Geometry Group, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). The school is held for master and doctoral students in mathematics, but newly graduated mathematics doctors are also welcome. The lectures will be delivered by three experts in the field, two of which are coming from overseas.

The first MYSAGA was held in 2018, attended by 30 participants from Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, and Japan. The focus of MYSAGA 2018 was on Morrey Spaces and Related Topics. The second MYSAGA was held in 2019, attended by 27 participants from Indonesia, Japan, and South Africa. The focus of MYSAGA 2019 was on the Geometry of Banach Spaces and n-Banach Spaces.

This year, the focus of MYSAGA 2020 will be on Geometric Analysis and Related Topics. The school will be held in seven days, including social programs, at Center for Advanced Sciences (CAS)-ITB on August 8-14, 2020, with the following schedule:

August 8-13: Main Program (see MYSAGA-2020_Schedule-v1, including the names of the invited lecturers)

August 13   : An Afternoon Trip to Tangkuban Perahu Crater

Besides the lectures, there will be 10 slots for 20-minute contributed talks by participants. For interested participants, please send an abstract of 75-150 words by email to hgunawan(at)math.itb.ac.id by May 31, 2020. The registration will be closed on July 12, 2020.
