Mathematics ITB Summer School 2019

Summer School on Differential Equations and Its Applications. 12 – 16 August, 2019

This summer school aims to provide a foundation on Theory of Partial Differential Equations, especially in the perturbation theory and the computational aspects of it.

During the program, there will be four sessions for each day, i.e. two lecture sessions, one exercise session, and one guest lecture session. This program is intended to strengthen not only the analytical but also the computational aspects in the Partial Differential Equations.

Objectives of the program are

• To give the participant a foundation on the analytical and computational aspects of the approximation of solution of Partial Differential Equations.
• To facilitate contacts between mathematicians working in these areas and the participants coming to the school.

This summer school is appropriate for final-year undergraduates, masters, and early-years PhD students in Mathematics. A total number of 30 participants from Indonesia and South East Asian countries are expected.
